If there are dead limbs, however, prune in winter. Truly happy I got the Live Oak tree replaced after I received one that was withering and dying.

The Crabapple that came with it came in good conditions. I have planted it and has taken on. Growing and has established itself. After 2 weeks the live oak is doing fine. It was actually ft.
