Undergraduate students live in on-campus housing in their first and second years as Tufts students. Rooms are assigned based on a lottery system.

Many rooms are mid-sized and ultra-modern, and the campus dining halls consistently score well for the quality of the food they serve. Many undergraduate students choose to live off-campus in their final two years at Tufts, and most graduate students live off-campus for their entire Tufts career.

That said, there are a limited number of on-campus housing opportunities available for single graduate students. If you have made up your mind to live off-campus, it would be wise to look for roommates and apartments early, as demand can be high.
